Measures 14” tall and weighs 57 pounds.
The sculpture is signed RP in block letters on the bottom of the base.
The Soapstone graining is exquisite, being finely and professionally carved with the smoothest lines and wonderful detail.
The Estate was told that this piece was exhibited in a Newport, Rhode Island gallery with the artist having affiliations in Arizona. Someone out there may be happy to share the name and more information on this talented artist.
A beautiful piece, which is in fine condition, having no chips, cracks or repairs, having a few minor scratches mainly in the arm as the photos show.
