Beautiful J & E Stevens, Company, Owl Turns Head, cast iron mechanical bank.

The mechanical bank operates by placing a coin into the slot by its neck and pressing the lever on the back. The head will then turn, which deposits the coin into the bank.

It features a beautiful owl sitting on a log with a tree limb extending upward towards the owls left wing. The owl has beautiful large, yellow, glass eyes with dark irises. The colors are consistent with the design patent.

It is in good, working condition with its original base plate. The original trap; however, is missing. Just wonderful and beautiful to see in person!
