Beautiful, tall, period Staffordshire pair of figurines, a gent and lady.
Both are holding a dog that is staring up at them in adoration. The woman is also holding a sweet bird.
The lady measures and impressive 16 ¾" tall and the gent is 16" tall, both being about 6 ¼" in diameter at the base.
They are both in sweet condition for the age, having the normal crazing and paint loss. The lady has one chip on the bottom of her left sleeve and one about 4" up on the right side in the fold of her shirt. All conditions are shown in the photos and could easily be touched up if desired. We prefer to leave things alone and let the buyer make any decisions.
They are in wonderful condition for their age and are an unusually large size.
