Absolutely gorgeous hand painted KPM Dresden porcelain portrait, signed and dated verso by noted artist, Ludwig Sturm, 1881.

Features a violet velvet frame, which has wood on the back and the back stand is still in tact.

This portrait is absolutely stunning and measures with the frame, 14 11/16" x 12 3/8", and the oval portrait inside the frame measures about, 8 1/2" x 6 3/8".

Signed L. Sturm Dresden 1881.

In good condition, normal wear to the velvet frame.

This is such a gorgeous piece that would definitely accent a Victorian room above a mantle or would be a great addition for any Dresden porcelain collector.
