Beautiful Pairpoint Burmese ruffled form compote in salmon pink and translucent yellow.
Measures 4 1/2" tall, 6 15/16" wide at the widest point at the top and the base measures 3 1/4" in diameter.
The compote is unmarked and is circa 1925 with the polished conclave pontil.
(Pairpoint Burmese glass with finely polished conclave pontils were produced during two specific time periods: originally it ran between 1885 and 1895 by the Mount Washington Glass Company, which later merged with Pairpoint, which in 1925 another production of the finely polished conclave pontil finish ran. The later 20th Century burmese products didn’t have the finely polished conclave pontil finishes): Credited to facebook Mt Washington Experts I spoke with.
Features a gorgeous translucent yellow compote with a delicate and gorgeous salmon pink ruffled rim.
This compote is in excellent condition.
The compote would accent any room well in any style room. A great addition for any art glass or Pairpoint collector!
