Antique South Jersey, Millville, Glass Mushroom Colored Frit & Aventurine Paperweight

Beautiful, antique South Jersey, Millville, glass mushroom colored frit and aventurine paperweight with a square base.

Circa 1896 and measures 4" high x 3 3/4" in diameter.

This paperweight features a 3-dimensional ribbed, white mushroom, speckled with multi-colored frit and aventurine on a clear ground.  There is a small air bubble above the indented center of the mushroom.  The top is in a spherical form with a polished square base, which has a rough pontil mark.

It is a beautiful piece with moderate overall surface scratching and shelf wear.  A beautiful piece to see in person and is much more stunning in person!

This piece would look gorgeous in any setting.  Would be a great addition for any South Jersey, Millville, glass or paperweight collector.
