$895.00 USD High quality exquisite Art Nouveau Amphora Teplitz cabinet vase or ewer from the factory of Reissner, Stellmacher and Kessell, from the 1900 period. The impressionistic design looks like the designs created by Paul Daschel. Measuring 6 inches tall, this is a finer piece of Amphora having high detailed gold on the top floral opening and the twisted handle. A beautiful piece which is in fine condition, having no chips, cracks or repairs.

RARE EARLY LARGE GAUDY WELSH LARGE JUG DRAGON’S HEAD AND DRAGON HANDLE - CIRCA 1830
SOLD Rare large size Gaudy Welsh jug having the Dragon’s head with his tongue sticking out and the dragon handle, from the 1830 period, octagonal with 9 sided ruffled spout. Measuring 7 inches tall this piece is in nice condition having no chips, cracks, hairlines or repairs. This same jug is pictured, only a smaller version measuring 4 inches high, noted as being rare with 4 photographs is in Shuman’s book, Gaudy Dutch & Welsh, Page 163 and 164. It has the incised Ironstone China on the bottom and has really deeper colors that most we have seen.

Measuring 5 inches tall, this unusual piece is of the highest quality, having no chips, cracks, hairlines or repairs. If you are not familiar with Rito Talavera, he and his wife, Lydia Quezada are featured in The book, "The Many Faces Of Mata Ortiz." Juan Quezada, as most know, led the entire pueblo of Mata Ortiz in creating outstanding handmade pieces following century old methods. This pieces comes with a twisted wicker round wreath holder. This is a stunning, unusual piece.
