Hard to find French First World War poster, Nous Saurons Nous En Priver, (We will be able to deprive ourselves some). Measuring a nice size of 26 inches by 18 ½ inches with an image size of 20 ½ inches by 13 inches, this great piece was framed with non glare glass which has muted the brilliant color. It has one small tear on the lower left right next to Union, as the photos show. A nice early, rare poster. An importance remembrance of our past showing the great strength of our patriotic United States of American. We will be listing these beautiful, colorful posters over the next several weeks. The posters are untouched with original fold marks and are in excellent condition. This hard to find large poster, measuring 30 inches by 20 inches, "Save your Child From Autocracy And Poverty - Buy War Savings Stamps from 1918, by one of the finest WW I poster artists Herbert Paus. Unusual by using the Statue of Liberty in the composition. It was put out by the Untied States Treasury Department. It is protected by shrink wrap and has been put against a white board, not laid down. It has a tear at the right top and on the left top side, in the condition as the photos show. A wonderful bright and colorful poster from our past.

This hard to find large poster, measuring 37 inches by 28 1/4 inches, "A Careless Word" was created by the United States, Office Of War Information, Division Of Public Inquiries, having been done by noted marine artist Anton Otto Fischer and was published by the U. S. Government Printing Office, Washington, D. C. in 1942. This colorful poster is very dramatic, a ship at sea burns in the background while sailors row away in a life boat. Some are wearing life vests and appear to be wounded. A wonderful bright and colorful poster from our past.

A. - we are American Soldiers, and, by the grace of God, we will fight the enemy until his vanquished. Buy War Bonds and Stamps Today. On March 26, 1942 this slogan was in a speech given before the Australian parliament by General MacArthur. It was put out by the U. S. Government Printing Office: 1942. WSS 535. It is protected by shrink wrap and has been put against a white board, not laid down. We have not been able to find this one in any archives. Must be a hard to find one. A wonderful bright and colorful poster from our past.

This hard to find large poster, especially in this size, measuring 56 inches by 40 inches, "Save Freedom Of Worship: Each According To The Dictates Of His Own Conscience: Buy War Bonds" was created by the United States, Office of War Information, Division of Public Inquiries, from The Saturday Evening Post by noted artist Norman Rockwell and was published by the U. S. Government Printing Office, Washington, D. C. in 1943. Illustrator Norman Rockwell used his neighbors in Vermont to interpret the American values contained in the Four Freedoms presented by President Franklin Roosevelt in his State of the Union speech to Congress, January 6, 1941. These Rockwell paintings were circulated in four consecutive issues of The Saturday Evening Post, in February - March 1943. They became the four of the best known poster of World War II. The four paintings, of which we are offering three, became a motto for the war and for the 1943 bond drive. This one depicts men and women of various races and faiths, including a woman with rosary beads, clasped hands together in prayer. This poster was known to be issued in at least 3 sizes this being the largest. A wonderful bright and colorful poster from our past.

This hard to find large poster, especially in this size, measuring 56 inches by 40 inches, "Our To Fight For - Freedom From Fear" was created by the United States, Office of War Information, Division of Public Inquiries, from The Saturday Evening Post by noted artist Norman Rockwell and was published by the U. S. Government Printing Office, Washington, D. C. in 1943. Illustrator Norman Rockwell used his neighbors in Vermont to interpret the American values contained in the Four Freedoms presented by President Franklin Roosevelt in his State of the Union speech to Congress, January 6, 1941. These Rockwell paintings were circulated in four consecutive issues of The Saturday Evening Post, in February - March 1943. They became the four of the best known poster of World War II. The four paintings, of which we are offering three, became a motto for the war and for the 1943 bond drive. This one is of a mother and father tucking two children into bed. The father is holding glasses and a newspaper that reads "BOMBINGS KI- HORROW HIT." This poster was known to be issued in at least 3 sizes this being the largest. S. Government Printing Office, Washington, D. C. in 1943. This is a colorful poster of a soldier smiling and holding a large metal cup. He is wearing a helmet and an olive colored shirt. It is OWI Poster No. 37. A wonderful bright and colorful poster from our past.

This hard to find large poster, measuring 40 inches by 28 1/4 inches, "Doing All You Can, Brother? - Buy War Bonds" was created by the United States, Department of the Treasury, United States, War Savings Staff, having been done by noted artist Robert Sloan and was published by the U. S. Government Printing Office, Washington, D. C. in 1943. This colorful poster shows a close up of a soldier with a bandaged head and a blood stained khaki uniform. He has light colored hair and blue eyes. The background is of a barren field scattered with broken or abandoned machinery. A wonderful bright and colorful poster from our past.
