Hard to find large book, John Milton, Miltons Paradise Lost, illustrated by Gustave Dore, published by Cassell, Petter, and Galpin, London, Edited with notes and a life of Milton by Robert Vaughan, DD. Measuring 15 inches by 12 inches and 2 inches thick, the binding is tight, with foxing
only in the front 2 pages and last. There are rubs to the beautiful cover and the binding is pulled in the back only as the photos show.

Nice, early, bright and colorful child’s book, The Goody-Naughty Book by Sarah Cory Rippey, measuring 6 ¾ inches x 5 ½ inches and published in 1913 by Rand McNally & Company. The Goody stories begin on one side and the Naughty stories begin on the other side, and they meet in the middle. While reading the Goody side the Naughty side will be upside down. But when finishing reading the Goody stories and turn the book around, there you will find the Naughty stories right side up and ready to read, while the Goody stories will be upside down. This book is in nice, tight condition, as the photos show, with the normal minor rubbing that the photos show on the binding edge, one small dent on the cover on the Goody side and 3 small light spots, as the photos show. ( Must be the kids did not get a hold of this one. It was obviously well take care of.) What a sweet book!!!

SHIPPING TERMS: Buyer prepays item, plus shipping, insurance and Delivery Confirmation on this item. All our shipping is done USPS Priority Mail, Insured Delivery Confirmation. International shipments are by Global Express. International and other shipments may run more, but always only what it costs us for shipping and packing materials. (Please note, shipments to Italy are by UPS only.)
With a personal check, shipment will be made within 10 days of receipt. With money orders, shipment will be made within 4 working days of receipt, unless there is an unusual circumstance.
All items are extremely well packed, which adds to the weight of the shipment. No returns on any items, unless we have misstated something in the listing. The cost of shipping back and forth on any item returned is the responsibility of the buyer.
